About the Author

Jane Biehl PhD has a severe hearing loss and her hearing ear dog is her constant companion. Jane has a master's in library science and was a librarian for 19 years. She also has a master's and doctorate in counseling and has been a counselor for 17 years. Presently she is teaching about deaf culture and interpreting at a community college.
